New Policies Crack Down on Spammers
Effective Immediately, Spam Content Not Permitted
In an effort to improve the quality of content for users, Google and Blogger have announced new policies that ban spam content effective immediately. Spam content is defined as content that is primarily aimed at promoting a product or service rather than providing valuable information.
The new policies apply to all content posted on Blogger blogs, as well as to content commented on by Blogger users. Any content violating these policies will be removed, and users who repeatedly post spam content may be banned from using Blogger.
Google and Blogger are committed to providing a high-quality experience for users. These new policies are an important step in achieving this goal. We encourage all users to read and abide by the new policies, and to report any spam content they encounter.
Here are some examples of spam content that is not permitted on Blogger:
- Content that is primarily aimed at promoting a product or service.
- Content that is misleading or deceptive.
- Content that is offensive or harmful.
- Content that violates our Terms of Service.
